The Bridle Path Community

The Bridle Path is is the most affluent neighbourhood in all of Canada by household income, as well as property values.  It is often referred to as "Millionaires' Row" because of the celebrities that own homes here, including Celine Dion! The 10 largest homes in Toronto are in the Bridle Path area, each with more than 25,000 sq. ft. of living spaced and assessed at more than $10 million.

Although "The Bridle Path" is in fact the name of a road in the area, the term generally applies to the surrounding neighbourhood as a whole. The community is generally bounded by The Bridle Path on the north, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on the south, Bayview Avenue on the west and Wilket Creek on the east.

Bridle Path Homes

The Bridle Path originated as an ultra exclusive neighbourhood in the early 1930's. The spectacular homes in the Bridle Path were mostly built from the 1930's to the 1960's in every style from Georgian, Colonial, Greek and Tudor Revival, Italianate and Neo Gothic to California bungalows and futuristic modernist houses on huge, two to four acre lot sizes.

There are also luxury condominium buildings with stunning details and opulent features that rival those in the surrounding mansions.
